  • Drag-and-Drop-Wiederherstellung
  • Option zum automatischen Leeren des Papierkorbs

I have been using TrashMagic since version 1 in 2009. It has been entirely reliable throughout that period and the developer is very responsive. The App has always been made compatible with the latest OS version as soon as it is released, sometimes with a new version but very often with a free update. I recently updated to Catalina, so upgraded TrashMagic to version 3, which is fully 64-bit and simplified compared to version 2, but in a good way. Once it has been set up you can just leave it knowing with confidence that it will do its work automatically in the background and that on the occasions when you need to recover something it will be available in the TrashMagic cache. Unlike TimeMachine, TrashMagic saves deleted items instantly so you can never lose anything. Dealing with the cache and recovery of files is much easier in version 3, which overall is nice step up from version 2. Overall, a very good App.

This is one of those "must have" apps, as far as I'm concerned. It has not been updated since 2014, but still works in High Sierra.

This app has saved my bacon a number of times. I'll admit I've trashed files I later needed back (and Time Machine didn't have backed up). If you charge by the hour, the time you save in recovering a file you didn't really want trashed will pay for this utility the first time you use it.

This developer is delusional if s/he thinks many folks will pay $29 for this app. I wouldn't have paid any more than $12 for this functionality even before Unblunder offered it for $10. But because s/he was so greedy, now everyone is flocking to Unblunder and thumbing their nose at TrashMagic. Let that be a lesson to all the other d1ckhead developers who are charging an arm and a leg for their wares when the world economy is in deep recession and so many are unemployed.

This is a useful app. Unfortunately for this developer the new Mac OSX - Leopard has this functionality built in amongst a whole host of other wonderful stuff...and the OS costs $129 while this app alone costs $49. However that said I've been using it now for a few weekss and am quite happy with it. One problem I've come across: I've put TrashMagic in my startup items. I've a MacBook that logs out automatically after an hour of inactivity. When I log back in I always get an error message from TrashMagic telling me it couldn't start. A bit annoying really.
